...that I could feel this much love in my heart for these little people
...that they could all be so different and yet so much the same
...that the sight of a little dimple can make everything feel better
...that kids can mess up ten times faster than I can clean up
...that I would learn the magical ways to get gum out of hair and koolaid out of carpet
...that bath time could be so much fun
...that wiping noses and changing diapers can be a service unto God (Colossians 3:23)
...that I could feel utter and complete love and total frustration and exasperation towards the same kids -- at the same time
...the the sound of a 3 month olds giggle could bring tears to my eyes
...that I would sit in a restaurant and find that I am covered in that same 3 month olds exploding diaper and think "I love my life" (and mean it)
...that I would hear my five year old say, "Mom, don't I look TIGHT?"
...that a two year old would call me into a room just so he could give me a few squeezes
...that I would hear a belch that would make most men envious and say, "Gooooood girl! I am so PROUD of you"
...that the sight of chubby little fingers can make my heart literally ache with love
...that I could love bedtime so much
...that brushing the teeth of a toddler can be very painful
...that kisses really do make everything better
...that tan little backs and legs could make me feel so happy
...that every time someone tells me how beautiful my kids are that I would feel so blessed
...that ice cream really can be a main course
...that the words "bath, blankie, bottle, and bed" would yield squeals of delight
....that mothering would be such HARD work
...that I would love it SO MUCH.
So, how was YOUR day yesterday?

OH Janet! How awesome! WE have so many friends we support who are missionaries and it would be so neat to see where they live. :) This looks like such a fun and exciting place to be! I'm sure you will make such a huge impact on lives there as well. :)
