yup. i've loved those posts by Ali too, and i love this one by you! couldn't agree more. one of the reasons i've always loved your scrapping is because you're always telling a story. thanks for the inspiration. :)

That's why I scrap, too, Janet. Well, really, because I want my *kids* to remember, and that's why I can't wait to get all my photos from growing up scanned. i want them to know what I was like when I was a kid. It's such a wonderful hobby. Great post today; I enjoyed reading it.

A good reminder to me to remember why I scrap - it is fairly easy to get caught up in the latest and greatest stuff, but I LOVE getting the stories down. I have such vague memories of my childhood for some reason, and I want my kids to remember theirs! Something you inspired me to think about is to somehow keep journaling/scrapping their spiritual walk too!!!

Amen to an awesome God - what an amazing thing the lunar eclipse was!

Funny how I've been thinking that lately too! In fact, at the SA blog last Monday, that's kinda the challenge I gave. and I've written about it in my blog this week too. But you;ve written it more eloquently though! LOL! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Sadly, we did not get to see the lunar eclipse. It had been raining here the whole day and there were still thick clouds last night. Oh well... I got to witness a solar eclipse back in the Philippines when I was in 5th grade. A science lesson right in the school field!

Great post, and great topic. Like most I have a variety of reasons I scrap - to record the little every day moments, as well as the BIG occasions (weddings etc). Somtimes it's the photo, other times it is because I have just bought a wonderful element I must use!

Whatever the reason, blessed be the children of scrapbookers, as they will inherit the albums. :)
