...throws you for a loop! And actually, this week, a loop would be an understatement! Some HUGE unexpected things have come up this week and each day I get to the end of the day and I think, "Now that is not how I anticipated my day going!" Like yesterday, I had LONG list of things that needed to be done...you know, laundry, change sheets, pay some bills, work on a few gifts, etc. etc. And yet, not ONE thing on my list got done! A bit of it is my fault. I am usually a last minute person. I always get stuff done on time, but rarely early. I suffer from a "I have time so I will do it later" problem! Now, I will admit, I have gotten sooo much better over the years. I plan ahead, work ahead, and give myself lots of time...usually. But yesterday, I had about and hour and a half that I *could* have been doing some of my list but I thought, "Hey, I have all day, I'll just sit and play for a while." So while Levi slept and Caleb was intently watching Diego (his favorite show!) I enjoyed some quiet time at the computer working on a kit that I may or may not every put in the shoppe! Not the best use of my time, I admit. But then I had to start getting ready to pick up Alaina from school and have a family lunch. So, I gathered coats and car seats and got myself ready. As I was putting on Caleb's coat I saw that his right ear looked really puffed up. It wasn't bruised, just puffy. I was pretty concerned. We went to to lunch and I called the doctor's office and got his (unrelated) appointment that was scheduled for Monday moved to yesterday so I could have the doctor check out his ear. So after lunch, off we went to the doctor (which is about 40 minutes away). A few hours there, lots of prodding, cultures, blood work (he was a super star!) we went home with antibiotics for something she says probably isn't even a bacteria! It will be a week before we know for sure what it is. Ugh. Poor guy. Apparently, it isn't his ear, it is a gland in front of his ear.
So we get home and I had an email that I HAD to write then. That took about 20 minutes and then it was dinner, Jason getting home, feeding Levi, bedtime routines, etc. Then, by 8:00 we had all the kiddos happily in bed and I was excited to sit and enjoy Grey's Anatomy for the next hour. Then at 9:00 I had a phone call I wasn't really expecting and that lasted over an hour. That phone call then led to a two hour conversation with Jason and we got to midnight and I realized that I got nothing done. How crazy is that?
Anyway, we are all okay...just dealing with some major curve balls (good things) and there is just a lot of emotional energy being used trying to sort through things. I can promise you, I am TOTALLY looking forward to this weekend! Three days to hang out with my wonderful little family. No plans other than Alaina's school's pancake feed tomorrow night. But I am sure we will have lots of fun!

So, have you checked out the DIGI SHOPPE yet? 50% off of everything! Now, I will say, there was a little confusion over the way the sale is set up. We have usually set up our own sales. Ashley said she would set them all up this time. However, it appears that we set up our sales differently than she does! So, it some prices are listed as their normal price and a 50% sign and others just have their 50% price listed. But I assure you, all the items are 50% off their original price. This includes my popular FAT PACK. Can you believe it? It was STEAL for $45 and now to get it for $22.50?
And I just added THIS to the shoppe! My first mini-album was very well-received and I have been meaning to do a second one for a long time! I finally sat down and did it! I can't wait to use this one...I love the simplicity of design but with the little extras I love...lots of stitching and these cute wooden button templates!
I should have more items added throughout the three day PASS THE TORCH celebration. So keep checking back and you never know what you might find!

Okay, I'm off. I am *attempting* to get some of the stuff I had planed for yesterday done today. Plus, I am taking the kids to gymnastics this afternoon and doing my Wal-Mart trip. I hope it's not TOO cold outside. I really don't like cold :(
Have a FANTASTIC weekend and I'll "see" you on Monday!
