...only take one nap a day??!! Seriously, is this normal? I thought Alaina dropped her second nap early at 12 months. Caleb didn't drop his until he was 18 or 20 months and even now at almost 33 months still takes a 3 hours nap! Now I know Caleb's sleeping isn't normal but only one nap a day at 9 months! And to be honest, he has really only been taking one nap for over a month. Sheesh. I am having a hard enough time with him growing up at all but as a mom, I kind of look forward to nap time. Hmmph.

Wanna see my boys? I love them. And I am realizing that this raising two boys thing is going to be entertaining to say the least. It may be downright frightening at times. I do know that I will laugh. A lot. And so will they. This is a regular occurrence around our house:
Caleb spins Levi around in his exersaucer and Levi squeals with delight. Caleb is laughing so hard and then he falls down and they both laugh even harder. Round and round they go. Even just now, Caleb pulled the exersaucer over to me and pointed inside and said, "Levi." Yes, okay, Cabe, I'll put Levi in. They have so much fun together!
Unfortunately, this also is a regular occurrence at our house:
See the look of total frustration and almost terror in Caleb's face? "No Levi!" he keeps shouting. Sometimes I come referee and sometimes I let them sort it out. At least I know they love each other :)
This was my favorite site from yesterday:
I came into the living room while I was making dinner and I saw this. Alaina must have pulled Levi up and they were happily enjoying Dora together. I LOVE having kids!

During craft time yesterday afternoon Alaina and I made these cute little guys:
Aren't they adorable? Jason picked up a book from the library on crafts for Bible stories. We had a great time reading Psalm 23 and talking about how just as shepherds take good care of their sheep God takes care of us. Then we cut our hands out of black construction paper, added cotton balls, an eye, and a bow (supposed to be for the neck but Alaina insisted that hers was for her baby sheep's hair!), and voila! Sheep!
I want to do more of this. We were REALLY spoiled last year with Alaina having an AMAZING preschool teacher AND only having four kids in the class. They did the COOLEST crafts. Everyday she came home with total works of art. Now most days she comes home with a coloring sheet. Kind of boring. Oh well. Different places do it different ways. But I know that crafts is Alaina's FAVORITE part of school so I want to work with her on some stuff she can be really proud of!

So, no new LO's for you. Sorry. I have been working on some other projects and my scrapping has had to take a back seat. But next week I should be back in the swing of things again. But right now, I need to do laundry, wash the breakfast dishes, grab a second cup of coffee, and then get the boys ready to go into school and have lunch with Jason and bring Alaina home from school. Then it is naps for the boys, craft time for the girls, and then hopefully a little work time for me, followed by supper, bath, bedtime, and then GREY'S! Yea! I am going to love Thursdays!
Oh I love that picture of Alaina and Levi! So cute! She is already looking older to me than she did in November, whew they grow fast. I'm so glad you are enjoying being at home (without other responsibilities).

No, it is not normal for a nine month old to take only one nap! Tell Levi he has at least a good 3-6 months to go before that happens! :)
I love those pictures of your boys together. I'm sure they are a handful but tons of fun too!
