It is hard to believe how much can happen in just a few weeks! In the last two weeks we have celebrated Christmas with our dorm girls, (unfortunately) had to walk through having two girls asked to leave school, packed up our whole house and moved it into an empty classroom, drove 800 miles to Michigan (in pouring down rain!), bought/made Christmas gifts for all the extended family, wrapped more gifts, drove to Lansing to hang out with Janel K and Jennifer C from the DIGI SHOPPE (that was a blast!), drove an hour to my sister's house to celebrate Christmas Even and Christmas morning with my family (brother, two sisters, two brother-in-law's, and my parents), turned right around and came back to celebrate Christmas with Jason's family and to celebrate his dad's birthday. Plus, we have done lots of odds and ends...looking for furniture for our new house, lots of playing with the kids, learning that when I went upstairs to the bathroom Levi fell down my in-laws WOODEN steps (miraculously, he is fine!), and going to bed before 10 TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW! It has been busy, crazy, and chaotic at times....but we are having a great time and I love having my mind so much on my awesome little family. Needless to say I have not been on the computer much. I haven't even been able to check email because my in-laws computer has issues with gmail. The break has been very refreshing and will last a few more days. But don't worry...after the first of the year I will be back...with a renewed focus and energy!
Hope everyone is enjoying their holidays!
So glad to hear you are enjoying your busy holiday break! Isn't this MI weather so crazy? I don't remember ever not having snow in December like this. Happy New Year to you and your family!
