...that's about all I have time for. We have finally starting to think about sorting and packing out things. Our freight will be leaving in about 3 weeks so we have SO MUCH to do. It feels good to sort through stuff and GET RID OF THINGS! That is one great thing about moving a lot...you get to "clean house" with all your stuff. I just gave away a TON of paper scrapping stuff...stickers, die cuts, idea books, etc. I've moved them from house to house for years and they have never gotten used, so I'm happy to see them go to a new home. I kept a bunch of stickers for Alaina to use but I managed to get rid of a whole Rubbermaid tub full of stuff. Yea!
So yesterday I had a good scrapping day. The dorm was pretty quiet and the kids were happy to entertain themselves (which is rare) so I had some time to get some pages done. I am SOOOOO behind on posting in 2peas, some of these may never make it there. I hate to hog the gallery by uploading all at once so I may never get caught up. Oh well. I am realizing that I need to keep reminding myself why I do this, though. I do this for my family, for the memories...not for the praise of others, for design teams, etc. Those things are great, but I need to keep things in perspective a bit. So...I think I have 4 or 5 for you:
Kit is the awesome ORANGE SQUASH by Lynn Grieveson at SBE. Overlay by Shabby Princess, stitching and tags by Michelle Coleman.
Kit is A MOTHER IS by Mindy Teresawa at SSD. Stitching by Michelle Coleman, tears by Steph Krush, pin date by Holly McCaig.
Here is a perfect reason for why I love digital. I got two pages done (one for Alaina's album and one for Levi's) and it took only an extra 10 minutes or so for the 2nd page. I switched out some paper, changed the journaling, and voila! I'm done. Love digi!
Kit is ENJOY LIFE by Mindy Teresawa at SSD. Stitching by Shabby Princess. Tag by Michelle Coleman.
Levi's one month page. Papers, colored alpha, and photo hinges by Shabby Princess (Splash kit), stitching by Ronna Penner, Collage alpha and Polaroid frame by Kristy Nerness (Create kit by Kristy and Holly McCaig).
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this photo. Isn't she just the sweetest? Ever sine Mother's Day she keeps bringing me flowers and pictures and saying, "Happy Mother's Day!" Paper by Michelle Coleman, stamps, ribbon, and staples from SUMMER TRAVELS CD by Jen Wilson and Lauren Bird, frame by Nancie Rowe Janitz, pin date by Holly McCaig.
Hope you are all having a great weekend! I'll leave you with a sweet picture of my sweet little girl (I'm working on my b&w conversions...) Would you beleive that I took this picture inside McDonald's? What can I say...the lighting was great coming inthrough the big windows and I couldn't rsesit those catch lights in her eyes. Gotta love that burn tool to get rid of the cashier's counter behind her!
I totally hear you on the clearin out thing. I keep thinking "oh that'll go in the next move" then remembering there aren't supposed to be more moves. How am I going to cope without packing everything up every 18 months LOL! Gorgeous layouts you've been creating lately BTW!

Dang, girl, all I can say is "No wonder you are one of my favorite scrappers!" I just love everything you do. We're packing up, too, and Joel is the one trying to get rid of everything. We sent my paper supplies home with my brother because I invested WAY too much stuff in baby supplies not to do Jack's first year in paper. But I am loving his second year in digital! I forgot to say to you while we were in KL (how random was that??) "You look GREAT to have just had a baby!"
