First I just want to show off my sweet little guy. I had some fun yesterday taking some pictures of him. He is so incredibly sweet...I wish I could explain it. He is breathtaking.
And now for the letter. We sent this out to family and friends today.
Dear Friends and Family,
Thank you all so much for all of your love and well-wishes for Levi. Already he has become a very special part of our family and we look forward to the coming months and years with him.
As most of you know, we made a decision back in January to step out of the dorm parent role here at Dalat. This decision was made for a variety of reasons, the biggest being the addition of a new baby to the family. The Dalat boarding program is structured and run in such a way that having three preschool children has the potential of keeping us from running the dorm effectively. There is also the equal danger of neglecting our own family as we care for the dorm. With careful consideration, we told the director that we would not be dormparenting at Dalat this coming year.
Since that time we have sought God’s will for our future. Over the Christmas holidays we felt sure of two things: 1) God was strengthening our call to minister to our own family and to use our family as a means of ministry and 2) God was strengthening our call to working in residential ministry. We have struggled with these two calls which at time and to many seem contradictory. And yet, we felt sure of them and began to pray that God would show us how and where these two callings could fit together.
Three months later, we feel that God has answered that question for us. After looking into many different opportunities in schools all over the world, God surprised us by calling us to the one place we did not think we would end up – the United States
. However, being obedient to His calling, we have accepted the position of Residence Supervisors for the girls’ dormitory at Nebraska Christian School. Nebraska Christian Schoolis a small non-denominational school of a little under 200 students, located in the small town of Central City, Nebraska, 110 miles east of Omaha. The girl’s dormitory houses about 20 students, grades 9-12, half of who are from the US and half who are international (mostly from Asia). There are many, many details to be worked out. However, rather than letting ourselves worry, we are trusting in God’s calling and leading. He has gone before us. We would appreciate your prayers as we begin the process of packing, moving, and planning for the new adventure God has for us.
In Service for Him,
Janet
P.S. If you would like to learn more about the school, you can visit the school website at www.nebraskachristian.org
And two new LO's. I have been so scared to scrap Levi's first page...he's just too perfect. But I figured I just needed to do it so I did. I love it.
And one I did of Cabe...
That's it for tonight. Bye.

YIKES! Aren't you brave to leave your helper and your full time husband and move into an ALL GIRLS dorm! It sounds like a fun, new adventure, and won't it be fun to do your shopping at WAL MART. I will miss having you so "close", but I am excited for your family. I love the two new layouts you did. That Levi is so darn cute!
